June 30, 2020 Update: Before we start, it is important for you to know that there are so many terms being used in substitute for online dating verification. Here are the most common ones we hear from complainants: Hookup ID, Meetup ID, Date ID, Dating ID, Online Dating Protector. So next time you hear something like “that id is fake, this is the real id”, don’t believe them, they are all same “dating verification id providers”.
Fake Dating Identity Verification
It’s really easy to determine if an online dating verification provider is fake, they will ask you to send money to be able to “process” your verification id. The number one safety rule in online dating is to never send money to someone from dating apps that you haven’t met personally. The scammers will ask you to send the “ID payment” via Western Union, Money gram, or any other money remittance service.
There are hundreds of this scam that are being reported to us daily, so we advise everyone to spread the word. Once you encounter this scam, block the person immediately, and report their profile to the dating site you are using. Based on the reports we are getting, most of the scammers are based in Nigeria, Ghana, Bangladesh.
Here are samples of emails that scammers use to solicit money for the fake online dating identity verification IDs. We didn’t show the names of the scammers since we don’t know if they are using other people’s names to receive the money. Plus you don’t really need to know the names or the email address of the scammers. Here’s why, if we publish a list of the scammers’ names or email addresses, they can just use other names next time and they can just create new email addresses. You only need to know the contents of the script they are using since they are all basically the same.

Real Dating Identity Verification
Here are the most common methods that legitimate dating sites use to verify the identity of users:
- Upload identity documents: You will be required to provide proof of identity documents like driver’s license, billing/bank statements.
- Upgrade your account: You will be required to provide a valid credit card or debit card info. This surely sounds lazy, but it’s one of the easiest ways for dating sites to verify that a registering user is a real person and not a bot. Plus the obvious which is they make money doing this.
Most dating sites just use the term “profile verification” but in reality, they just want you to pay for a premium account. That’s why we highly advise you to check the plans of the dating service before signing up and entering your payment information.
How to Avoid Dating Identity Verification Scams
Here are some effective tips to avoid possible encounters with dating verification scammers:
- Take advantage of profile verification features.
- Only chat with verified members.
- Only use dating services that have profile verification features in the first place.

Overview
Welcome to our investigation of Member-Hookup.com. If you’re looking for unbiased, truthful information on this dating service you’ve come to the right place. Our goal is to give you the most thorough review possible. Part of our screening process is to join all dating sites that we review including this one. This allows us to give you a very deep evaluation of if the site is legitimate or if it’s a bogus scam. Everything you need to make the right decision is available below. We’ve included any evidence, any proof, and any information that proves if Member Hookup is fake. Read the full report below. .
Member-Hookup.com Is Connected To A Slew Of Fake Dating Sites
The first piece of evidence we like to give everybody is the connections that Member-Hookup.com has to multiple dating sites that we reviewed in the past that have all turned out to be scams. We know for a certain fact that Member-Hookup is owned by a corporation responsible for hundreds of fake dating websites which have their corporate address located in Cyprus, a country located near Greece. Cyprus is a haven for people trying to avoid taxes, for companies trying to avoid International laws etc. Pretty much all of the dating sites that we’ve ever reviewed that have corporate addresses in Cyprus have all turned out to be frauds. The list of fake dating sites connected to Member-Hookup.com includes Members-Dating.com, Baboooms.com. CrushSwipe, com, InstaSext.com, MegaHookup.com, MegaFuckBook.com, FreeSnapMilfs.com and so many other sites that it will make your head spin.
Fake Awards On The HomePage Of Member-Hookup.com Used To Build Trust & Credibility
Member-Hookup.com is built on a long ,list of lies. Let’s start with the homepage of their website. On the home page of their site they claim that Member-Hookup.com is the “number 1 mobile dating site”, they also claim they’re a “dating site award winner”. But the question you need to ask yourself is who claimed that they were the number one mobile dating site and who gave them a dating site award? And the answer is no one, it’s all lies and fiction. They have given themselves the “number one mobile dating site award” which is a farce. All they’re trying to do with these phony awards is to make you believe that their website is the best place for you to meet people. But their credentials are all garbage. This is the very first piece of evidence pointing to how dishonest and deceptive the owners of this website are. The fake awards are used to build trust with fake credentials, don’t fall for it!
(Screenshot of the phony credentials the site gives itself.)
This Site Is Filled To The Brim With Fake Profiles Called “Love Stars”
The second piece of evidence we like to bring forward is also found on the Member Hookup homepage. While creating our membership for this investigation we needed to go through their step-by-step process. This process included agreeing to the terms and conditions and also agree to something called “Love Stars”. Since we’ve dealt with other fake dating sites from the same company that owns this one we knew exactly what “Love Stars” are but you don’t. A “Love Star” is a fabricated profile that’s been created by the websites own staff. Employees who work for Member-Hookup.com are responsible for building vast amounts of phony profiles that mislead you and thousands of other members into believing that you’re looking at legitimate female profiles.
The profiles are far from real, everything in them is a lie. First of all the photos are either purchased or copied from other websites, and secondly all the information you see in the profiles has been created by a paid employee who works on behalf of the website. These dating profiles are not real members. The “Love Star” profiles that the websites employees are responsible for creating even have their own little logo which is “LS” an abbreviation for “Love Stars”.
(screenshot of the “LS” Love Star logo found on fake profiles pages.)
For the record every female profile that we looked at while researching for this review came up as being a “Love Star”. This tells us there are no real females on this website looking to hook up with anyone. Member Hookup is nothing more than a scam that uses fictitious profile pages as a way to seduce you into upgrading to a paid membership so you can communicate with profiles on the website that you think are real local girls.
(Screenshot of the phony credentials the site gives itself.)
Phony Emails Used To Scam People
Another trick that we’ve come across that is very common place with fake dating services is a use of computer bots. If you don’t know what a computer bot is it’s an abbreviation for a computer robot which is a software program that is created by computer software engineers. These software programs are able to send people fully automated email messages that most people believe are actually being sent from horny local women. The software bots can send thousands of people bogus emails in seconds. You might be asking yourself what’s the point of hiring computer programmers to send people email messages that look like they’re coming from other members? The answer is that they want you to believe that you’re in correspondence with local girls who want to hook up with you all you need to do is upgrade and buy a full paid membership, then you will have the privilege of communicating with these women.
But remember these women are phony “Love Stars” profiles. You can never meet them in person because they don’t exist. The only place they exist is on the website, these are not genuine dating profiles created by real females that want to have sex with you. It’s all a facade.
(Screenshot of the bogus emails we received.)
When You Upgrade They Swindle Even More Money From Your Credit Card
As we’ve already mentioned the emails are all computer-generated and not being sent by real female members. This is all done in the hope that you will get lured into upgrading. And when you upgrade not only are you getting scammed because the messages and the profiles are both fake but when you upgrade you’re also automatically enrolled into a VIP membership without your knowledge. You think you’re purchasing a monthly subscription to their hookup site but what happens is your also subscribed to other websites without your knowledge. One of the website charges your credit card $39.61 per month and another website called VideoErotic.com charges you $28.87 per month. Remember these two charges are on top of the monthly membership that you’re paying. Essentially this is a scam on top of a scam, on top of another scam and it charges your credit card every month until you cancel.
(Screenshot of the charges that you get billed )
The Terms Page Proves It All
Is Hookup Girl Site Fake News
The number one piece of evidence we can give you that has overwhelming proof that this website is a scam is the terms and conditions page. In section 10 of the terms and conditions page they write that “some of the profiles that are posted on their website maybe fictitious or paid models or automated computer bots that are related to their Loved Stars program”. They go on to state that “Love Stars” work for the site. Then they state that “the information and photos in the Love Stars profile doesn’t pertain to any actual person or member it’s included strictly for entertainment purposes only”. And they go on to state that the “Love Stars contact website users through email and send messages and text messages for the purposes of encouraging broader participation in their site services”. This means that they use these fake profiles to get you to upgrade from a free account to a paid one. We’ve included the most important parts of the terms and conditions page below and alternatively you can click on this link and go to section 10 of the terms page to read it for yourself.
- You understand, acknowledge, and agree that some of the user profiles posted on this site may be fictitious or models or bots related to our “Love Stars” program.
- You understand, acknowledge, and agree that the information, text, and pictures contained in the LS profiles do not pertain to any actual person or member, but are included for entertainment purposes only.
- You further understand, acknowledge, and agree that, from time-to-time, LS may contact Website and Services users and members via electronic messaging, including for example, email, instant messages, and SMS, for purposes of encouraging further or broader participation in our site’s Services and/or to monitor user activity.
- You understand, acknowledge, and agree that no physical meeting will ever take place between you and LS, and that the exchange of messages between you and a LS is for entertainment purposes, as well as to encourage further or broader participation in our site’s Services and/or to monitor user activities.

Final Decision:
To wrap up this investigation we like to give you our personal opinion about this website. We think this is nothing more than a scam operated by smart crooks who know how to use technology to deceive people. Member-Hookup.com shouldn’t even be called a dating site it has a shell of a dating site but the inner workings are all a fraud used to manipulate you so you will purchase a membership, that’s it!
