- Reservations: Yes
- Rates: $90/night and up
- Hookups: Full hookups, 30/50 AMP
- Number of RV Sites: 64 sites

The Pikes Peak RV Park is set just to the west of Old Colorado City and offers a fabulous jumping-off point for the Manitou area attractions including the Cave of the Winds and Rainbow Falls.
The location is shaded and relatively peaceful, considering that you are right along the main drag. The large trees and the small creek that runs through the property give the impression that you are further from civilization than you really are.
Pikes Peak RV Park offers full hookups and back-in sites. Be aware that there are no pull-throughs and larger motorhomes with slides might find some of the spots are tight. This isn’t the biggest Colorado Springs RV park or the one with the most amenities or the five-star scenic location, so don’t expect a resort-like experience. But if you’re looking for a conveniently located jumping-off point for some around-town adventures, this campground will fit the bill.

Great for a longer-term stay, the resort offers laundry, city water and sewer hookups, and free wifi. With several oversized RV spots, the resort can accommodate larger motorhomes.
Don’t expect a ton of privacy or a lot of shade as the RV spots are cozy and the park is mainly a gravel lot with paved access roads. That being said, what you trade in privacy you gain in access to the local amenities as you are under a 15-minute drive from Red Rock Canyon Open Space, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Seven Falls, and all the restaurants, breweries, and activities of downtown Colorado Springs.
Though this isn’t the fanciest or most scenic RV park in town, it has a nice backdrop and all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re happy with a no-frills, budget-friendly RV campground in a great location, the Foot of the Rockies RV resort should do the trick.
